We went to visit Lizzie this afternoon and brought her (and her soon-to-be new friends) canned food.
Lizzie has already been spayed, fully vaccinated and she will be going to Mr P’s orchard soon, where she will live in a beautiful retreat centre with some elderly dogs. The place is absolutely pristine, natural and she will have a lot of space to run freely. But the place is also fenced up and there is no chance of escape.
Mr P says Lizzie may also have a chance to be a turtle sanctuary guard dog where she will live in another beautiful seaside turtle sanctuary, protecting turtles and their eggs.
We spent a few minutes with Lizzie and wish her all the best in her new home.
