Remember the pair of eyes watching me last night from outside my window? That’s the Vixey-look-alike, the little black kitten Wii used to bring home for food last time.
Since I’m not sure of the cat’s gender, I’ll just call him/her Pixie for now.
Well, this afternoon, I went looking for Pixie. I’ve spotted him/her once, sitting right outside one of my back neighbours’ (not the animal-hater, of course) backyard. This neighbour keeps cats, but the cats are caged up.
About four years ago, when they kept their first cat (in a cage), my cats (Cow, Bunny and Tiger) used to sit in my backyard to keep this cat company so that it wouldn’t feel so lonely. The cat would mew for hours non-stop, but when one or two of my cats were there, she would be quiet.
Now, this neighbour has two cats. They have just recently acquired another kitten and it is also kept in the cage. This kitten was initially mewing non-stop too…until Pixie came…
Pixie keeps these cats company by sitting right outside the neighbour’s backyard.
This afternoon, Pixie was there again.

I confess, I have a soft spot for black cats, but look at the eyes in that last photo. Don't they just tear at your heart?? Lovely Pixie! 🙂
