This needs a bit of a back story first…
For months, Juno had been bullied by Kai and Indra, the two ginger Blondies. They gang up to intimidate her whenever she goes into their territory, which is Bunny’s Place. Juno lives in the house with Riley but both love going out to Bunny’s Place for the natural outdoors.
Akira and Samantha don’t bully Juno, it’s only the two gingers who do it.
Lately, Juno, having grown up a bit now, decided it was time to fight back! So, whenever Kai or Indra sneaked into the house, Juno would growl viciously at them and chase them back. Sometimes the fights get very, very loud and scary, but so far, there has been no injuries, luckily!! Juno only does this to Kai and Indra, especially and more viciously, to Kai. Fair’s fair.
This morning, the fight was extraordinarily vicious and loud. I had to break them up by splashing water. Somehow, the rule with them is this: “I get to be aggressive if you are in my territory and vice versa”, but it seemed like Juno had forgotten the rule. She continued attacking Kai even after both had been chased out back to Bunny’s Place. Hence, I had to splash water to break them up.
Thankfully, it was just all screaming and yelling. Just noise. They didn’t touch each other at all.
After I stopped the fight – Akira and Riley are the innocents here.

Kai concedes by going up high on the ledge.
We managed to get Juno back into the house, but she was riding high on victory and decided to go out to the catio. She knows that the Monsters never bully her, which is true. We wonder if it’s a case of colourism, because they are also grey tabbies like her? The Monsters also leave her alone to wander around. It’s all peaceful whenever Juno goes to the catio.
This time, the moment she went out, something very surprising happened and you won’t believe it….
All the Monsters went to hide in the big cages!! Well, all except Minnie who usually isn’t bothered about anything at all. So, Rey, Robin, Lynx and Smurfy went to hide!
I guess they too got frightened by the loud and noisy commotion which had just happened.
Juno, you frightened the Monsters?? You feisty little thing, you.
We finally got Juno back into the house!
The Monsters also fight amongst themselves, taking turns to be the aggressor. Usually, the aggressor is Robin. Rey doesn’t fight with his brothers. His mortal enemy is Samantha. They fight across Stargate, so it’s definitely just noise and no touching at all.
Phew! I’m done with the days where our warriors, Cow Mau, Bunny and Indy, fought. Those fights also resulted in blood and trips to the vet’s, plus anti-tetanus jabs and antibiotics for me! And sometimes, even surgeries for the warriors. I’m definitely too old for those now.
