Riley loves watching cat videos!
But not just any cat videos; it has to be videos of real cats. Certainly not AI-generated ones, no matter how real they appear to be (to us humans!).
She especially likes videos of ginger cats.
Personally, I love watching the Cat Podcast which features Biscuit and Ash, two AI-generated cats talking from a cat’s perspective on the silly things that humans do, but Riley is absolutely not attracted to their videos because she just knows those are not real cats.
Riley also can distinguish authentic cat mewing from AI-generated or fake ones.
She is so engrossed and mersmerised, she can finish watching an entire cat video even if it lasts 15-20 minutes, without flinching. I notice that she likes the documentaries, those that give you real facts – the educational ones.
Who knows what Riley is learning from these videos…
