Rey has finally regained his normal appetite.
This morning, he asked for seconds and thirds for breakfast! I hope this means he has fully recovered from that infection. Tomorrow will be the last dose of his Marbofloxacin antibiotic.
I still wonder what could have caused that infection, though, but I am thankful it did not spread to the other cats. Of all our cats, it infected Rey, our supposedly strongest cat.
My task now is to wean him off the frequent small meals given throughout the day and get him back to eating two big meals per day. I already started on that yesterday where I managed to reduce the 5 small meals to 3 bigger meals.
I’m so glad Rey is okay now. Many thanks to everyone for your very kind wishes for Rey.
