My husband was taking a video clip of naughty Suki today, and we chanced upon some old photos and videos stored in the video recorder.
They were photos of Vixey!!
And also a video clip of Vixey with me and Bobby.
Here are my treasures of my dearest Piggy-Vix! They will appear in my new book. They are all low-resolution photos because they were taken with the video camera, but they are as precious as jewels!
Piggy-Wiggy is in some high heaven now, looking after all of us from above.
We’ll meet again on Rainbow Bridge, Piggy-Vix!
(Vixey passed away on October 4th, 2009, after bravely battling degenerative illnesses caused by her congenital retardation. She is survived by her brother, Wii, all her friends at home and all of us who loved her to bits during her short life of two years. Vixey was rescued by Ming-Yi and me from a rubbish heap in October 2007. She was a pygmy cat, and survived a brain trauma at the age of 1 month. During her short life, she helped look after Indy, Creamie & Crackers, Suki and Joanie.)

Vixie love, know that you are much loved, much remembered and much missed … KY, how nice to see those precious pics. Yeah, such treasures … Vix must be smiling watching everything from above and I bet there are some tears in her eyes too missing you guys back ….
Yes, MarC, I shedded tears writing this posting. She was so, so sweet. It's as though she has never left us at all. Her presence is still being felt in the house, especially in this room. When she passed away at the vet's, the vet gave me a nice cushioned basket to bring her home. The basket is still here, and we notice none of the cats dare to go into it (not even Suki). My husband said it's because it's Vixey's and they respect the basket just ss they had respected her during her short life with us.
