It was the Cow Clan. They have ganged up against poor Tabs.
Just now, Tabs was lying on the pillow on the bench with me. Suddenly Pole came over and whacked her with the paw. Tabs was so afraid but since I was with her, I protected her and reprimanded Pole.
After that, Cow jumped up, and Tabs FLED for her life!! I’ve never seen Tabs so afraid of anything before. She leapt from the bench onto the apartment-shelves and was almost trembling.
Then Bunny came….
Yes, it’s that classic thing that the Cow Clan does to everyone when they are of age. It must be some rite of passage created by them, ie. You survive our “initiation”, you get the stay. Or else, you leave.
Cat politics….or rather, Titan-Cat Politics.

Oh, she’s now scared of thunder.
But Indy is different. Indy plays with Tabs, and so does Tiger.
After all, I think Indy knows what it is like to have survived the Titan-Initiation Orientation. Tiger survived it with Bobby’s protection while Indy with Vixey’s. Vixey was our lovely jet-black pygmy cat. Vixey had Yoda wisdom and nobody ever dared to bully her! Without Bobby and Vixey, looks like Indy and Tiger have to protect the undercats now! And yes, Tabs is the last of the undercats. I don’t think I can handle another one, what with my Titanic-3 and their autocratic laws!

Oho dear! Poor poor tabs! When mayhem is about to emerge from my furmily (if i catch them of course) … usually I will ask them to “STOP IT” really loud and clap my hand really hard. That will break it… if not, it’s the water spray (i spray the anti stress spray instead of plain water – haha) OR worst case, I take their toy stick and whack their bum bum with it. I also sometimes become like them, become the aggressor and whack them like how they will whack the rest with my own hands. That will stop the fight usually. Things we do huh! You should come and visit my gang too then we can exchange notes 🙂
Poor Tabby Tab Tabs. Hold on there, Tabs. Ask Bastet for bravery, understanding and patience?
By the way, the picture of Bastet is very lovely and well positioned in the room. She looks like a guardian of the cats!
Yes, the Bastet picture is from Egypt! Mounted on papyrus. A relative got it for me. Would have been perfect if she had looked to the left (into the room), though.
No problem! Cats are like that, right? They love to play the I’m-not-interested-in-you game all the time. They’ll ignore you so that you are forced to go to them and do their bidding, rather than pay attention and be your servant.
