I have also been told by the staff who is dealing with this case that she already had, to begin with, sufficient funds for the Chow Chow’s medical treatment, so I am extremely puzzled now, why she asked us for help in the first place. I am very unhappy with this revelation because raising funds for a special medical case is not an easy task. Why waste my time and energy asking me to raise funds when there was actually no need for it?
Our funds are used specifically for the spay-neuter of strays and rescued animals. For any other medical or surgery cases involving a substantial amount, I have to raise funds separately.
But as I have said, it IS a blessing in disguise that all these surfaced in the end, though very unpleasantly.
We will definitely keep to our mission of helping smalltime rescuers. The big guns can certainly look after themselves.
Note: With the consent of the donors who had contributed to our Chow Chow fund, the monies have now been transferred to our General Fund for stray animals.
P.S. We have found a potential adopter for the Chow Chow, and I have directed the person to the shelter – 8th Nov 09.

Read some of your posts on those ignorant and selfish staff. I hope you just ignore these kind of people and continue what you do with head held high. We all know you, us including the animals. That's what matters most 🙂 we are bound to meet these kind of ppl on our journey, but we lose nothing and learn more from these kind of experiences rite?
