Good morning, everyone. Alicia text me a few days ago about Abby. Abby’s had her first bath! And she looks much, much better now. Alicia’s family also takes Abby for car rides and she loves it!
We are very happy that Abby is gaining better well-being.
P.S. For new readers, Abby is a 13 year-old mixed spaniel, dumped by her owner to be euthanised at the shelter. She was rescued and we worked very hard at rehoming her. Alicia is now fostering Abby to get her into better health, and soon, come mid-October, Abby will be permanently adopted by Tina, a kind lady who believes every animal deserves to live out their natural lives with dignity and respect. My friend and I are wondering if we could come by to see Abby. She broke our hearts by her life story although we are so glad that she will have a permanent home soon.
