Bits of news

We are still (quite desperately) looking for a home for the elderly dog (it seems she is female, her name is Abby). If you know of anyone who is willing to give her a home, please contact me as soon as possible. She is 13 years old, and her owner wants her euthanised because he is moving house. I have found a fosterer for her, but the rescuer wants a permanent home.

I have been going on my rounds to look for Joanie every day. And of course, I end up feeding the stray cats in the alley. A few days ago, an Indonesian maid looked out of her kitchen window as I was feeding the strays. She smiled and called her employer to the window. Her employer came, and I thought I was going to be scolded because I know some people don’t like this. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised that she smiled.

This evening, I saw her throwing out some food for the strays too. It catches on… That’s nice.

So, we’re got the “C” going in CNRM. It’s a first step.
