Updates: I was supposed to make a bigger owl for Jessy and this turned out a wee bit too small. So, I’m going to sew a bigger one, hence, would anyone like to adopt this Ms Pink? I need more kapok! Where’s the nearest place to buy (in Subang Jaya)?
The original post:
So we got Ali-Baba-ed by the company who shortchanged us 4 owls, but as I’ve said, we will make our own.
So, here it is…our very first own owl pillow!
We hope you like it, Jessy!
The making:
Get the matching cloth first.
Place paper pattern on cloth.
Cut out the pieces.
Sew.
Almost there..
Jessy wanted Nerdy, but no matter how I placed the pupils, it just didn’t look like Nerdy.
Will this be alright, Jessy?
Now, to stuff it with kapok. Ming-Yi was at my mum’s house helping to stuff up all the 12 owls and she brought back the remaining kapok.
Here we are, Jessy!
The finishing touches – little feet!
Anyone else would like an owl pillow, uniquely AnimalCare’s?
We have enough kapok for two more owls.

Your own owl designs are better then the printed ones
Yep, agree. The DIY homemade Ms. Pink Owl is definitely better.

Update: Ms Pink is up for adoption! Anyone wants to give her a home?
