The making:

I LOVED making this blanket as it’s “real” patchwork in that I made use of scraps, literally!

Dug out all the reds and pinks…

I made parquet patches, in no particular pattern. After all, that’s why it’s called “patchwork”.

I’ll do the final selection of which piece goes where….never trust a human.
They almost always get it wrong. 

I’m sitting on the pieces so they don’t fly off. 

And thank you, Chen Chen, for the red and pink thread!

Vivian and her mum like the blanket so much, they have ordered a “guy-blanket” for a boy.

Blankets are not obsolete…yet!
