Indy to the rescue (another heroic tale…or is it?)

This afternoon, we went out to my mum’s to collect the aprons and upon our return, Indy was calling from the grille. Initially, I thought nothing of it, but soon I realised that his tone was very different.

So I went in to check and to my horror, I found Bunny sitting on the table looking very dazed. There were two scratch marks on his face, very close to his eyes. There was also a drop of brown discharge on the table and I noticed scratch marks on Bunny’s arm too.

Quickly, I got out my cat first-aid kit.

I wiped all his scratch marks with sterile saline and applied the pet spray to all other visible wounds except the ones near his eyes.

Bunny was clearly in a daze.

Then, I noticed tufts of black-and-white fur at the farther end of the table, near the door towards the pantry.

Black-and-white fur?

Was it Cow…again?

Normally, fights are between Cow and Bunny with the former initiating them. Then, Indy would intervene to break up the fights. And Indy usually follows through by reprimanding the initiator of the said fight.

Poor Bunny…

His appetite was still good, though.

I fed him Vetri DMG, Transfer Factor, along with some wetfood. He ate them all up.

Who attacked you, Bunny?

See the injury on the arm? This one seems to be the most serious of them all. The rest were superficial scratches. This one is either a puncture wound or a claw wound. It looked more like the latter to me as there is only one hole.

Was it Cow, Indy?

That’s the trouble with us humans, we don’t understand Cat language…

That’s the small puncture wound.

When Bunny gets injured, it’s worrying, because he is FIV+ and he might develop a fever due to compromised immunity. Hence, the Vetri DMG and Transfer Factor for added protection.

Now, who attacked Bunny? The only evidence we have is the tufts of black-and-white fur.

Was it Cow?

Or could it have been…..Indy himself??
