This is the remaining Giraffe-Hippo cloth donated by Ms Ooi. Ms Ooi bought enough to make FOUR blankets!
Since the cloth comes with big motifs, there is no point in cutting it up. So the patchwork is in the sashing by the sides.
The patchwork sashing is made from remnant cloth that my mum had sewn together. Small pieces measuring 2.5 in by 4.5 in, so that nothing is wasted.

The other piece is not as wide, so I added borders to it. And the pink and polka red cloth is from the same cloth. Again, nothing is wasted!

Meanwhile, I also sewed Vicky’s doggy wrap. Vicky thought I could use remnant cloth but I decided to use a whole piece donated by Ms Ooi.
It is a long scarf measuring 4 in by 8 ft.
