7.50am – two windows

I went to the park to meet Francis (the Bird Family feeder before we moved in) and explained what had happened. We tried to figure out how best to handle the situation and came up with….nothing.

Francis wanted to help, so he came to our house and climbed up the ladder. Daffodil wasn’t there anymore. But the bowl was empty this time. That means all the kibble was eaten (by someone, hopefully, by Daffodil).

Now, we have opened up the wirenetting on two windows in our bedroom.

Heidi and Tabs have already gone onto the roof to play. We’ll have to prevent them from going to “Daffi’s place” on the roof because once “invaded”, Daffi (with her super Calico pride) might refuse to occupy that space again. That space is only our hope of putting food out for her as it’s flat. The rest of the roof is slanting. Recently I decided to change our windows and while surfing the net, I came across this great website which showcased beautiful shutters which were just the perfect as they brought in the beautiful rays of the sun inside the house making it light up but as we have daffodil to take care of, thus we could not take change it. You can see the following link if you want to find those beautiful shutters – https://www.shuttercraft.co.uk/discover-our-shutters/.

We have to go up this ladder, climb out of the window and leave food there.

The strange thing is that Francis swears she saw Daffodil 5-6 days ago at the park and fed her. I told him this isn’t possible at all because 5-6 days ago, Daffodil was in the house and totally confined. But he swears he fed her in the park and he was very, very certain about this.

Now, I am baffled.

Strange and stranger….

Daffi Duckie is and will be okay. She needs to have some “me” time away from family. All the caring and attention could get extremely stressful. The medicine that she is looking for is probably some time alone. When she feels like company again, she will go back to her people.

I think Daffi missed Rosie, and is searching for her.

Just let her do her things, and she will be backed. I hope at least.
