Here’s Ben and Adele, with little Ebony. Both Ben and Adele had not expected Ebony to be so small!  But she is, and that makes her even more adorable, of course.  Last night, Yi Lin helped me foster Ebony.  I was up to my neck with the six kittens, and could barely cope.  And according…

  • Updates on the first adopted Selayang puppy, Tiger

First, my humblest apologies to David and Terry for getting Terry’s name wrong.  I wonder how on earth I could have misheard it as “Nicholas”!  I must be getting very old.  Terry’s name has been corrected in the previous posting.  Here’s an update from David: Its been a nice experience for my son Terry Tang,…

  • Daisy (aka Shaggy) finally adopted!

Kwanta and Kwanjai were two of our very first adoptions.  Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn had read my book, Pawprints, and she adopted them because she wanted to help homeless animals.  Both of them were kittens at the time.  They are sisters, too.  And it was Dr Veeranoot’s first time handling kittens or cats.  I remember taking Kwanta…

  • Updates on Jackie, the supposedly blind dog

Jackie is the “blind” dog we rescued from the Klang Dog Pound.  One eye was badly injured, and we had it innucleated.  The remaining eye was also suspected to be blind.  She was very depressed at the clinic, and many-a-time, we thought she was dying of depression.  After being fostered by Yi Lin and family,…

  • Updates on Perky

Perky is one of our Klang Dog Pound survivors.  She was adopted by Meiling some weeks back after being treated and spayed.  Shortly after being adopted, Perky developed tick fever.  We sponsored the treatment for this as well.  Perky has since recovered and is doing very well.    Here’s a photo and today’s update from Meiling:…
