I received updates and some lovely photos from Raihan yesterday.  She adopted BimBim from us, and after a few weeks, found that BimBim was lonely, so she adopted Toya from the street.  How fast they grow!  BimBim is so big and handsome now! And here’s Toya, so cute with that little patch on his nose!…

Good morning, everyone.  Mas Marlena wrote last night to say GingerBaby has been adopted!  This is truly wonderful and we rejoice that one more stray has been taken off the streets.

Finally…the day we’ve all been waiting for.  Super has been adopted by Mr Kumar.  The rescuer discharged him from the clinic, and brought him to Mr Kumar.  The latest I received is that Super is doing well.  Super’s treatment, boarding and food at the clinic while recuperating is sponsored by AnimalCare.  Thank you to all…

If you remember, Mr Madehi adopted Whitey and Brownie on Saturday, as presents for his two daughters.  http://animalcare.my/2009/10/whitey-and-brownie-adopted.html He called me yesterday and told me the cats are settling in very well, and his entire family is very happy with them.  Although they are still a little nervous with the new place, he is helping…

A nice man called Mr Madehi called Sudhamma yesterday, after having read our posting, and he wanted to adopt Whitey and Brownie, and give them as birthday presents to his daughters. The viewing was arranged for this morning.  Since Sudhamma lived quite near, I thought I’d be able to handle this adoption.  Mr Madehi arrived with…

Super is going to be adopted by a Mr Kumar on Monday.  I had two people interested, but the second person changed his mind later on.  The rescuer has already visited Mr Kumar – he has two dogs of his own and he loves dogs very much.  We have also explained Super’s situation to him,…

If you remember, Rozy and her family adopted two kittens through us some weeks back.  She specially got them for her two boys because they had been asking for pets for some time.    Flashback The kittens are now named Jack Jack and Ally.  Here are some photos from Rozy.  Both are doing fine and as…

Iskandar, who hails from Ipoh, adopted a kitten from us some months back.  Yesterday, he called to ask if Dino aka Milo is still available.  At that time, Dino had been booked by a lady, so I said no. Last night, the lady text to say she cannot adopt Dino anymore because a family member…

After interviewing quite a few potential adopters, here’s Cucu with her new family.  The photo above shows Sharon and her two daughters, and holding Cucu is Lian, the owner. Cucu would need time to adjust to her new home.  But with lots of love and care (and Sharon’s family loves cats), I’m sure she will…

Ha ha….I knew you’d click to see if it’s really a zebra that we’ve got! No, we did not go to Africa to capture any zebras.  That’s the last thing we’d do.  The zebras are certainly better off in their natural environment than anywhere else. Zebra is a cat!  He’s got zebra stripes, hence, the name “Zebra”. …

Hi everyone.  Panthera has been renamed….Dino! So now, AnimalCare has TWO Dinos!  One more with Terry (the original Dino aka Milo aka Nana, the name he was first given by Amelia, his rescuer), and he is already booked.  I have had quite a few callers asking to adopt Dino, actually.  The little guy has charisma! We’ll…

Another adoption today!  This is Mr Zhu Jidong, an expatriate from China.  He prefers to be called Jack.  So, Jack called me today to ask if I have kittens for adoption. I will ALWAYS have kittens for adoption! I asked Jack if he had any colour preference, and he said actually no, but he would…
