Simba, kitten for adoption

Simba is one of the four kittens I brought back yesterday.  He belongs to Khi, the Myanmar lady, who was forced to part with all her cats and kittens because a neighbour complained and the local council gave her a 7-day notice to get rid of all her cats.

Simba’s sister, whom I now call Wolfie (because she really looks like one of my lost cats, Wolf) has been booked by our friend, Daniel.  Daniel will collect Wolfie on Thursday.

Then, Simba will be left alone.

Simba is confident and playful, as all healthy kittens ought to be.  Wolfie, being a big sister, is very protective and caring.

Here are some photos of Simba (ginger kitten, male) and Wolfie (the bluepoint white kitten, female).  Please help us find an adopter for Simba.

Quite photogenic, too.
“Help the strays!”

Playing with big sister, Wolfie.
Playing respects to Bunny.
Simba is more interested in playing than eating.
He only eats when I lock him in the cage.
If you’d like to adopt Simba, please contact me by sms at 012-6935870.
Simba fast asleep now, after 3 hours of nonstop playing in the room, and finally, eating.  Wolfie is still watching over him.  She displayed “big sister” characteristic the moment I brought her home with her three siblings.  She was watching at the cage door for every little sound while her three siblings were inside.  What a wonderful sister!

  1. Hi Kah Yein, Ive been reading post after post after post on your blog for the past two hours, with my outstanding work all piled up in front of me. It does say something about your posts, doesnt it? =)
This post on animals leaving us left me in tears, and when I saw that old picture of yours..I realised I had read your book long ago.

Anyway, I just want to drop by to tell you that what you do is very inspiring and uplifting for me. I am a college student aiming to study Veterinary Medicine. And I really hope to succeed and to be able to help all these animals, just like you do. I know it sounds very cliche, but i really want to do this.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for what you are doing with these dogs and cats.

  2. Dear Mynn, How very sweet and kind of you to write this comment. Thank you very much! Simba was adopted together with Wolfie and they both now live with Daniel's grandfather.
I'm so happy you aspire to help animals too. If you practise near Subang Jaya, perhaps you can be on our panel!
I have other books as well. The e-books are available at http://www.tiny.cc/paws
Write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com and we can keep in touch. I do not have your email address.
    Thank you!
