  • AnimalCare turns one year old!

It was exactly one year ago, on 31st May 2009, that AnimalCare had a soft launch at the Subang Jaya Buddhist Association.  I was invited to give a talk on Kindness to Animals, and I took the opportunity to tell the audience that a few friends and I were starting a charity for stray animals…

Julie Pek’s neighbour rescued a little kitten yesterday after the kitten was bitten by a dog.  The kitten was rushed to the vet’s and it was discovered that both her hind legs are paralysed.  The injury has also apparently affected the kitten’s ability to urinate and defecate on her own.  According to the vet, a caregiver…

  • Updates on Kwanta and Kwanjai

Kwanta and Kwanjai were two of our first adopted cats.  Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn had never handled cats before but she wanted very much to help out by providing a home for these two kittens who were then about 4-5 months old.  From the looks of it, Dr Veeranoot is definitely doing a wonderful job! Here…
