An appeal to the ADUN of Subang Jaya

I have just sent this email to YB Hannah Yeoh:

Dear YB Hannah,

As a resident of Subang Jaya, I am very disturbed by this news: http://animalcare.my/2011/04/what-shame.html

It is not the fault of the dogs that they exist or have been brought into the country. It is the fault of the humans, and perhaps, even the immigration officers who allowed them to be brought in in the first place.

Confiscation would probably mean the dogs would be put down.

Killing is never the answer to solving any problem, be it on humans or animals.

I hope the MPSJ will, at the very least, allow these dogs to live out their natural lives in the care of their owners; breeding can be stopped if it is made mandatory that these dogs be spayed and neutered.

Thank you.

Regards,
Chan Kah Yein

I fully agree and support your view. MPSJ shouldn't kill these existing dogs but instead they can monitor the proper care of these dogs' owners and just ban (seriously) the future import of these dogs. If they are humane and kind enough, they can even educate public on adopting strays from the shelters.

Very true 伍白. I wholly agree to ur suggestion. Authority should take animal issue seriously and react sensibly. Killing is not the solution.
