Of policies, photos and a few other things

With the overwhelming number of requests received by us, especially after the heightened awareness raised during the 2-day PetFinder event, I see a need to put in place some policies so that we may function and help you more effectively and efficiently.

Kindly read the following should you need our help in sponsoring the spay-neuter and medical needs for your rescues:
http://animalcare.my/p/policies.html

For a start, may I please request for a PHOTO of your rescued animal, your contact hp and a short-writeup of the case, when you write to me to request help?  Most handphones have a camera function these days.  Otherwise, please get a friend to help you with the photo-taking.

It would really make it much easier for me to arrange help for you once I have the photo of your animal and your contact hp.

I have to deal with many cases and requests each day, plus hold on to a job, so your cooperation would be highly appreciated.

I need to following, please:
1.  A photo of the animal (unless absolutely impossible).
2.  Your contact hp.
3.  A brief write-up of the case.

Please also be informed that my only source for extra help is by posting your request on the blog, so if you do not wish your case to be publicised, please let me know (I probably won’t be able to help you much without the publicity).  Your write-up will also be posted verbatim as I may not have time to re-write or edit it.  So, never mind the English, I make mistakes and typos too.  We Malaysians will understand each other!

If you need to contact me urgently, please sms.  When I am teaching, I cannot take calls.  If no urgency, please write to chankahyein@gmail.com.  If your email is not replied to within 24 hours, please re-send.  It may have missed my eye or gone on to the next page!

Thank you for your kind understanding.

Let us work together more effectively and efficiently for the animals!

Phew….!!

You're indeed a brave and self-sacrifing woman. I really dont know how you keep up with your work, handling your family & your pets, T-shirts promoting, rescue work, writing out on your blog, seting up of booths, etc.

If not for your hard work, so many animals would have been dead. You are indeed a one-woman army. I swear I cant WORK like you.

  2. All in a day's work, Devi. We make time to do what we think is important. I do as much as I can in a day so that if I die in my sleep, I go happily!

    Thank you!

"I do as much as I can in a day so that if I die in my sleep, I go happily!". Simply superb. Am so touched. I think I ought to follow this "philosophy".
