Becoming a pescetarian?

It’s pronounced “pes-ke-ta-rian”, and it means people who add fish and seafood to their vegetarian diet.

If you’re game on reducing your meat consumption, why not try being a pescetarian first?  Pescetarians are not vegetarians, but at least they give up on eating land animals (pig, chicken, cow, goat, deer, rabbit, dog, cat, etc.)

For every animal whose life you spare (by not eating them, or by not eating so much of them), you have done a good and noble deed.

    sometimes I do wonder, why does fish/prawn/crab being treated differently than their red-meat counterparts while they're also part of the animal kingdom?

    They're not, Anon. It's just that reducing the eating of each animal one by one may be more doable for some people rather than a total cut-off immediately. You could opt to cut off fish, too. By all means, please do!

    I'm not a vegan, but I seem to confuse people when I tell them I don't take pork and chicken. Of coz many just consider it a nuisance to dine with me, since I don't eat whatever they eat. They question me like I'm committing a crime by limiting my choices of meat intake. Sigh 🙁

    Both me and hubs are pescetarians. Been so since early this year because we just can't bring ourselves to eat meat anymore. Animals are OUR FRIENDS. And one day…We will be vegan. Sea animals are animals too…We are already starting to feel bad eating them.
