Just now, I received an SOS call from a lady. She said her neighbour had just found a few baby kittens and had handed them to her.
She said she doesn’t know what to do with them and her husband would not allow her to keep them at all.
She wanted me to take them.
I said I couldn’t, but will source for fosterers if she sent me a photograph of the kittens and her contact details.
She wasn’t willing to send me a photograph or reveal her details. She just wanted me to take over the kittens. And I cannot blog for help with her phone number without her permission.
Then, I said I’d teach her how to look after them, but she wasn’t interested in that either.
Sometimes we merely ask for bare minimum in order for us to help, but if people are not even willing to do that bare minimum, what more can we do?
This is as much as I can do. If I had offered to take over the kittens, it wouldn’t be fair on the Blueys, my six cats or my household again.
I can’t even blog for help because she did not give me permission to publish her phone number, name or contact details.
Sigh…
Here we go again….

I wonder why her neighbour handed the kittens to her in the first place… Hm…
hmmm … needing help but cant publish anything
Hmmm … maybe she doesn't like cats and found the kittens in her own compound and try to get rid of them, then make up sob story to emotional blackmail you. But I pity the poor kittens because I think they will end up being disposed of somewhere to die. So very sad.
Err… They found kitten.. but how about the mama cat? Another case of dumping kitten?
Ask her to give the kittens back to the neighbor and ask neighbor to contact you? Maybe the neighbor more willing to share?
sounds fishy to me.
cant even provide pictures?
if you don't want to provide your own email you can always set one up just for the kittens and delete it later. no one's going to run a search on the email owner.
Nope, not even an mms.
I think she will just end up tying up the kittens in a plastic bag and throw them in a garbage dump somewhere to die a slow painful death bitten by red ants or stray dogs. Poor babies! I have seen so many thrown like this, eyes not even open, umbilical cord still attached. Bastards!
