A simple-to-make green (but very filling) breakfast

Hi everyone,

It’s Meatless Monday again!!

Here’s a sharing on how you can actually adopt a meatless breakfast every day. It’s what I eat every morning and this breakfast is so power-packed, even after standing and teaching for 4 hours straight (includes walking fast to the next classroom), I am still full by lunch time, so a light lunch would suffice. And if you opt for a veggie lunch (since you are not that hungry anyway), you can already adopt a half-day meatless diet every single day!

The more meatless days you spend, the more animals you’ll be saving from the slaughterhouses.

Here’s my breakfast for the day:

Any green food. The Manuka honey is optional.

Something containing probiotics would be good too.

By the way, for probiotics, I take Supalife. It’s really good for me.

I need walnuts because that’s what powers my brain (to teach Calculus). Almonds are good for the heart and very filling too.

Make sure you have a quality control supervisor around to check on things.

Sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds give you loads of energy.

It’s easy to understand why seeds are power-packed. One seed produces a whole tree.

All of the above can be easily purchased from any organic store at affordable prices.

You can add some lemon juice too, to alkalinise your system.

And after breakfast, make sure you have the dessert – play with your pets! It’s a great way to start off the day.

By having breakfast at home, you are all powered up for work and don’t have to take time off from work to eat until lunch time. Productivity increases.

Don’t throw away the lemon. Cut it up and put them in a jug of water. Drink it throughout the day.

Have a happy Meatless Monday, folks!

Start off the week compassionately and healthily too!

go meatless once a week

If you love animals, eat less of them – makes sense, doesn’t it?

Our disclaimer holds. Please consult your doctor before embarking on a change of diet.

I agree with the nuts and seeds. I munch on them as well either as a meal or snack. May I know which brand is the Nutri-Green drink?

The one in the photo is from GNC. I used to take Dr Hagiwara’s Barley Green. That’s good too but a bit pricey.

I’m on FB for toooooo long, was finding the “like” button to click!!
Some nutritionist told me to take almond sparingly, not too often as they kinda contain cyanide??

I think you’re right about almonds. The same goes for apricot kernels. There was an email circulating about its goodness sometime ago, but it also contains something toxic. Perhaps all things in moderation.

i seriously envy those who can play with their pets. seeing u hold ur face so close to Tab, ouh man, i am jealous. i love cats. i adore them. but i have sensitive nose and eyes. i have allergies to their fur. i even have asthma (on daily steroids medication now). but allergies or not, i still do have 4 cats outside at my balcony though. and now feeding 2 strays outside the house. all i can do is look at them n talk to them. cannot play with them or hold them. if i have to make some physical contact with them (emergency cases), i have to put the surgical mask on and immediately wash my hand afterwards. my hubby doing all the cleaning and playing with them. u r one lucky person Dr. Chan. and u teach calculus too!!

I totally understand about allergies. My daughter has an allergy too. Sometimes, if we are lucky, we grow out of it. But only sometimes.
