Thank you very much, everyone, for joining in this round of bidding!
Looks like Santa Claus came in on his magical sleigh at the very last minute and scooped up Diagonals in Blue!
Thank you, Santa….and someone is going to get a nice present for Christmas!
Updates: Santa has decided to give Maneki Neko this blanket as a Christmas present and Maneki Neko has in turn, donated her bid of RM300, making it a total final bid of RM651 for this Diagonals in Blue!

HO! Ho! HO!
Merry Christmas Maneki Neko! This blankie goes to you!
Ms Maneki Neko, Santa Claus has instructed me to post this blanket to you! Please expect a Poslaju delivery on Friday (and I hope there is no episode from Poslaju this time!).
SWEET ๐
I am FLABBERGASTED. In my opinion, this blanket is the most beautiful so far, and now I will lie awake for a few nights and wonder who is the secret Santa? I am deeply touched, profoundly grateful, and moved to make an extra-large Christmas order from Myanimalcare.
I can’t wait to see the Mathematician’s Blanket! ๐
Hmm..I’m Santa Claus the big fat man with bushy white beard who lives in the North Pole.
For the 1st time in history Santa need to engage PosLaju to deliver Christmas presents!
hmmmm …. perhaps time for a ‘pondering’ over d last minute bidding … !!!!!!!
just a 2 cents worth … bids in increments of $200 (minimum) an hour before closing
Mr PC Leong, I echo your thoughts. ‘Ditto’
Santa Claus, jangan marah ya ๐ Happy Holiday Season to you.
Hi PC and Jasmine! I don’t agree with both of you here because anybody can put in any amount in a free and fair bid. A bid is a bid no matter the amount and we have to honour the bid or else the bidding process will break down.
I think Santa Claus is awesome that he bid this blanket for Maneki Neko. Good for you Santa!
And there are many more lovely blankets coming up soon. So for others who fail to get one – try and try again ๐ Never know when your luck will strike!
Hi everyone,
Yes, we have quite a number of blankets lined up (esp with the cloth donation from readers). Actually, to be exact, I’ve made NINE more, just lining up for mum to do the backing and finishing touches. And there are so many more sets waiting to be sewn.
A time has been set for the auction deadline (announced right at the beginning when the auction opens) and we do not set any increment limits so that everyone has a fair chance at bidding. And we are grateful for any amount as every little bit helps the animals.
Anyone who is interested would just have to monitor the bidding, esp during the closing minutes. That’s how an auction works, as Chen rightly pointed out – rules and bids are to be honoured.
Thank you for your kind understanding and I hope the fun spirit of this online auction can be maintained.
It’s all for the animals!
