How about a vegetarian reunion feast for this Chinese New Year?

Chinese New Year is approaching and Chinese families will be planning for their reunion dinner with family and loved ones.

How about making a difference to the animals this year and going vegetarian for the reunion dinner?

We can make a difference….we certainly won’t starve to death by forgoing meat once a week. But many, many animals will eventually be spared from the butcher’s knife if more people were to abstain from eating animals, even if it is just once a week. In factory farms, animals are bred to be slaughtered. Less eating…less killing…less breeding – it’s very simple math.

Let’s make the difference and create a better and more humane world for Mother Nature’s wonderful living beings!

Thank you!

Yup, for the first time in my life, this CNY mom will be preparing vegetarian food. My folks were here in Adelaide to visit me, and saw first hand how me and Don ‘survived’ on being vegetarians…Well it was more than surviving, we were at our normal self, running, cycling, weight lifting etc. And because i cook dinner most days, they were also eating vegetarian food with us. I am super happy and thankful when mom said she will be ordering and preparing vegetarian dishes for CNY this year (although i there will still be meat dishes as i’m the only vegetarian in the family)…But it’s a start, and i’m happy 🙂
