Ginger IS the new boss

Ginger dictates how close Vincent can approach.

That’s Heidi on Vincent’s table, so poor Vincent has nowhere to go.

Ginger has mastered the art of “staring down”.

Vincent gets it.

If Ginger sits near me, Vincent has to sit far away.

Ginger is on the table, Zurik on the floor.

Daffodil: Yes, that’s my son.

Daffodil, on the other hand, has become very domesticated now. From the feral cat that she used to be (in the ten years before we moved here), she gradually adopted our house as her home and now, she even follows me upstairs and waits outside the bathroom while I take a bath.

It has taken so long for Daffodil to be comfortable as a house-cat. It’s quite an achievement in itself.
