We’re all so excited today!!
An eagle paid us a little visit!
She’s magnificent!
And she can turn her head 180 degrees!
Tabs was really excited!
We had to keep the huntress confined in the house.
Rosie took it out on poor Tabs.
But Tiger came to Tabs’ rescue!
As usual, from the two “divides”, the inside cats wanted to come out and…
…the outside cats wanted to come into the room.
And the eagle was very happy perching on the ledge.
She was there for more than an hour until…
…it caught the attention of two titans.
Coincidentally, instinctively or otherwise, the eagle flew away.
Be safe, little eagle! Fly free!!

Nice photos of the eagle.. Really look magnificent. Thanks for the posting.
I would be very excited too if a beauty like that hung around at my garden. Considering it is Subang, it is more likely someone’s pet that flew out from their house. Maybe even a lost pet.
I also wonder – do these birds eat cat food?
There has been talk that the authorities wanted to release owls to biologically control the rat population lately. Don’t know if eagles were released instead… My daughter spotted two owl-like birds by the road side a few days ago. And about the rat “problem”, our suggestion of cleaning up the filthy drains has been falling on deaf ears for years. Rats are only there because of humans’ garbage. *Sighs*. I sure hope this is a free eagle and not a “working” eagle.
Beautiful!
Hi Kar Yein, just want to learn from you, how do you determine this is a female eagle ?
Hi MeiLeng, ha ha…I was simply using the generic pronoun “she”. I also don’t know how to tell!
i have to say that this is a very beautiful eagle..
