Another blanket adopted!

Strawberries!!

This is a really big single blanket measuring 69 inches by 78 inches.

This cloth is donated by Ms Ooi and it is a very big piece. I had to cut off one end of it, but will use this as patchwork for another blanket.

Since the cloth is already so beautiful as it is, all I needed to do was to add a blue-pink border on both sides.

My mum sewed the backing by top-stitching across the blanket. The top looks simple as there is only a border that is added, but the backing requires the same amount of work as any other patchwork blanket.

The cats KNOW quality.

We have a few more pieces of cloth from Ms Ooi, which are just as large as this one. If you would like us to sew you a blanket for as low as RM150 (it’s a donation to the animals), please write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com.

We’ll just add a border to the cloth since there is no point in cutting it up. The designs are also large.
