Cow’s bruise

Cow started on his antibiotics yesterday and dutifully took it twice a day, with food. Cow is a bit of a hypochondriac, so visits to the vet and medicines do have a bit of a placebo effect on him.

This morning, he spat out his medicine and it took some effort to force it in. Usually, this means he thinks he is getting better. His appetite is good.

This photo was taken last night. He allows me to touch his bruise, so that’s a good sign. The bruise looked red last night. I suppose that’s better than purple, blue or black?
