Here are three more songket-y bags, ordered by Suzainah!
I orientated the cloth such that the “kaki” is on the side because Suzainah wanted the bags to be medium-sized. Ikebana-style! There wasn’t enough cloth to make the handles, so I used matching cloth for them – so fortuitous that I managed to find matching cloth for the handles. I thoroughly enjoyed sewing these bags!
Here they are, to be posted to Suzainah, who, by the way, has also bought Classic Squares, the baby blanket sewn by Jennifer. We thank Suzainah very much for her kind donation of RM200 for all these items. Will be posting them tomorrow.
