We wish to thank one of our very supportive donors for ordering five large foldable bags (any cloth) and Dora the Explorer blankie with her generous donation of RM600. This donation is made in loving memory of Tortie Francesca.
Here are the bags, which I have just completed. By the way, I have found new ways of sewing the bag, so I can complete two bags in one hour now!
All these bags are 18 in by 22 in (LARGE).
Strawberry – cloth donated by Jessy Kek.
Hearts in Blue – cloth from my mum.
Batik – cloth from my mum.
Flying High – cloth from my mum.
You see the trimming at the top? That’s because the cloth was short of just a bit, so I added a matching chequered trimming. There’s still this Flying High cloth to make more bags, if anyone is interested.
Gangnam Style – cloth donated by Joy Saga.
This Gangnam Style cloth has some waterproof quality too and is super lightweight. If you are interested in this cloth, there’s plenty more.
A note about our LARGE bags – it can really put many things, but it could get too heavy too! So, you may wish to consider getting two medium-sized bags instead of a large one…unless you have very strong arms!
