Rey opens her eyes!!

Early this morning, when I checked on Minnie and the kittens, Rey only opened one eye.

By the time I fed Minnie….

This Sunday is their appointment at the vet’s for deworming. Maybe the vet can tell the gender by then? I know one is “closer” and one is “further” but cannot remember which is which. Haha…

Lift the kitten’s tail. The opening just under the tail is the anus. Below the anus is the genital opening which is round in males and is a vertical slit in females. In kittens of similar size, the distance between the anus and the genital opening is greater in the male than the female.

Okay, I didn’t get a chance to check and won’t purposely do it since Minnie doesn’t really like anyone handling her kittens unnecessarily. But I’m guessing the following:

Rey – girl, Lynx – girl, Rio – boy, Robin – boy. My guess is based on size, that is all.
