Today’s the Blondies’ annual vaccination booster shots.
All three were given a clean bill of health. Yay!
Kai is 4.1kg, Akira 4.3kg and Indra 4.6kg. The youngest is the heaviest!
So, annual booster done, dewormed, and the next booster shot will be in three years’ time.
In the car trip there, all three were singing in an orchestra, and not exactly harmonising too! But on the trip back, they were quiet. Haha…
Home sweet home!
Samantha didn’t even bother to greet them when they came home. Oh well…
Makan first!
Akira and Kai: We are not eating, we’ve been tricked! You said we were going for a car ride, but we all got poked and prodded….it’s unfair, we are protesting under the bed and not coming out until we are compensated for the unfair treatment!!
This was breakfast…
Kai’s paleo diet of raw cut-up, unprocessed unadulterated chicken.
I’m sure they will eat again for dinner afterwards!
What protest?
Haha…

Hello Dr Chan, the booster vaccination is different from the anual vaccination?
It is the same. They are all boosters because the immunity is already there. Sorry if the term confused you! After this, I will only do every 3 years until about 7 years old or so.
Ok thanks for the reply.i was of the idea that cats need yearly vaccination instead of the 3 year gap.
It depends on the environment the cat lives in, Basirah. If there is constant exposure to new rescues (street cats), then the yearly booster is required. Shelters, for eg., would do a yearly booster for all their animals.
The cat 4-in-1 vaccine covers feline parvovirus (FPV), feline herpesvirus (FHP), feline calicivirus (FCV), Chlamydophila felis (C. felis). The FPV component has a longer lifespan, but for the flu viruses, they keep mutating, so boosters might be needed.
Thanks fr the info Dr
