Happy Pescetarian Tuesday!

In case anyone here is on a low-carb diet, this konjac product is low-carb and even keto-friendly. It comes in several options – noodles, rice, koay tiow, etc.
And konjac is the root of a plant found in Asia. I always believe that we should eat according to our geographical ancestry. After all, evolution is an extremely slow process. You cannot change your biology within a few years.
For example, fish is still not a staple food for cats because their ancestors came from the deserts of Persia tens of thousands of years ago. Cats eat rodents and birds.
For my own medical issues, I have been consulting with the experts and have been advised that I need the Omega-3s from fish and fish oil. As good as sardines is for cats as a treat, sardines are also excellent for humans. It has zero carbs, is high in the Omega-3s and is high protein. So, I’m pescetarian now, but will still observe Meatless Mondays!
This is an imperfect world.
