Tabs and her frequent meals

Tabs eats a few times a day, at least three times. It’s small meals, but I’m glad she still has her appetite. I give her a variety of foods, as long as she eats.

Tabs has polycystic kidney disease (PKD) which is a genetic condition and chronic. Most likely, she was born with this condition but it was only discovered by ultrasound in December 2023. Before this, all her blood test results were normal and did not warrant any ultrasound.

I am truly grateful she still has her appetite and her behaviour is as normal as can be. She is taking kidney supplements and we do a 150ml subcut daily.

Every moment is precious.
