Last night, Juno was trapped in the storeroom.
When we went upstairs, we didn’t see her. But usually, she’s in one of her many cozy places in the house, so we didn’t actually look for her.
This morning, I came downstairs and saw a bit of dirt dug out from under the storeroom door. Juno was nowhere to be found. It was after a few minutes of looking for her that I realised Riley must have been trying to open the storeroom door to free Juno. Hence, the dirt from under the door.
True enough, when I opened the storeroom door, Juno rushed out. The poor girl had been trapped in there for so many hours through the night! She rushed around the house, acting a little crankily, but she’s okay now.
I think Riley must have been equally stressed all night, trying to rescue her little friend. At midnight, husband said he got up and saw Riley rushing to and from the storeroom door on the CCTV. He thought Juno and Riley were just playing, which they normally do.

Meanwhile…

All is well with our cats. The Blondies take turns for their mother’s affection. Today is Indra’s turn.

Kai is here.
