  • Rey asks for seconds and thirds!

Rey has finally regained his normal appetite. This morning, he asked for seconds and thirds for breakfast! I hope this means he has fully recovered from that infection. Tomorrow will be the last dose of his Marbofloxacin antibiotic. I still wonder what could have caused that infection, though, but I am thankful it did not…

  • Rey to the vet’s (high fever)

The last two days have been very worrying for us. On Thursday, out of the blue, Rey skipped his breakfast. This was definitely an anomaly as Rey has never skipped a meal before. I thought it was a tummy upset and gave him some probiotic. He did not look sickly. In between, I offered food,…

  • CNRM works!

We have always advocated One-Street CNRM and keeping our colonies small and manageable. Why so? Because it works, and it’s sustainable when it’s small. But there is one caveat, though, we only recommend Care-Neuter-Return-Manage if the environment is safe for the neutered animals to live in. If there are dangers, then always prioritise R=Rehome. Back…
