  • A step in the right direction?

The Penang government is planning to set up a dog and cat shelter, which we hope is a sanctuary, ie. no-kill. http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/9/26/nation/4790581&sec;=nation It ought to be, since it is going to be manned by a group of animal lovers.  Any hope of other states following suit?

  • Whither “humanity”?

Alicia sent me this today: This mummy cat and her four newborn kittens were abandoned outside our shop a few days ago. The saddest part of the story is that she was somebody’s pet. She is in good physical condition yet she was absolutely terrified! Her kittens were less than a week old as their…

  • Tinsel’s angry little gut

If you remember, Jimi had to return Tinsel to us because his wife has an allergy to cats.  So, Terry collected Tinsel last night.
