  • Suki is now on Rainbow Bridge with all my departed pets

Dear Friends, I apologise for delaying this posting.  I know there are many of you out there who are praying for Suki’s safe return since last night’s posting.  But I had to inform my daughter of the news first before publishing this in the blog.  ***************Sunday, 6.45am After hours of search last night, I finally…

  • Suki is missing

Dear all, Suki is missing.  The last I saw her was at 5pm before my son and I went out.  After we came back, there was very heavy rain.  I went out in the rain to look for her but could not find her anywhere. It is now 9.26pm and she is still missing.  My…

  • Eva’s bath

After Wendy, we went back to USJ1, to Ainey’s warehouse…to bathe little Eva. Eva has been having diarrhoea due to Coccidia, and she has certainly dirtied herself.  So, we gave her a good bath in the hot sun.  No photos as it was only Ainey and me, managing the little tyke.  We must have scrubbed…

  • Wendy gets a change of menu today

After visiting Russell, we headed for Puchong to spend time with Wendy. Feeding Wendy the cooked chicken.  She ate most heartily. After her lunch, she lay down, as usual, and I gave her a massage all over.  Then, Ainey snipped her nails.  She allowed this only for her front legs, but when Ainey tried on…

  • A happy reunion at PAWS

While we were at PAWS with Russell, we witnessed a very happy reunion.  A group of friends came to PAWS to look for a stray dog whom they had been feeding for some time.  Apparently, the local council MBPJ had captured the dog, and MBPJ dogs are housed at PAWS. The group finally located their…

  • Visiting Russell at PAWS

We started our day by visiting Russell at PAWS.  He was very happy to see us.  Here’s Russell polishing the chicken we brought for him.  My, my, he looks so good now, and he seems to have grown, too. He is so strong I could barely hold him down.  We think he’s just so excited because he…

  • Looking for a fosterer

My friend, Lisa, is looking for a fosterer for this puppy whom she had found wandering on the street.  Lisa has named her Bonny. http://animalcare.my/2010/01/puppy-found-and-up-for-adoption.html If you are able to help, please contact Lisa at 012-2138233. Bonny is also up for adoption.

  • Miko and Kuttima – may they both rest in peace

Miko and Kuttima both passed away this morning.  I had posted about Miko, the little kitten with a gangrenous bite wound, and Kuttima, the puppy with distemper just last night when their rescuers approached me for assistance.  Kuttima’s rescuer wanted reiki healing for her, so I got the rescuer in touch with Trevor Lee and…

  • Yogi, a pretty little dog up for adoption

The photo above shows Jacelyn and Yogi.  Yogi is a rescued female puppy, estimated to be about 3 months old.  She is very lovable and warms up easily to humans. Jacelyn brought in one of her rescued male dogs to be neutered at our panel vet this morning, and this afternoon, she brought in a newly-rescued dog that…

  • Another medical case

Soon after Jacelyn brought in her dog to be neutered, she called me to ask if she could bring in another injured dog that she had just found by the roadside.  By that time, I was already on my way to take Eva, so I called the vets at Healing Rooms to wait for Jacelyn…

  • Another dog neutered today

Rescuer Jacelyn brought in one of her rescued dogs, Blackie, to be neutered at our panel vet today, under our sponsorship.  Blackie could be a lost dog in Ara Damansara.   Jacelyn will be posting Blackie for adoption. Blackie, after being neutered – a little grumpy, but otherwise, ok.

  • Visiting Wendy

After Eva’s examination, Ainey and I disinfected ourselves thoroughly, and off we went up to see Wendy.  Wendy was lying down and seemed a little tired.  There were many pieces of chicken left all over her cage, as though there had been some struggle.  I think someone had come to feed Wendy earlier and had…

  • Eva to the vet’s

Right after Ah Hak’s case, I rushed home to disinfect myself before going over to take Eva to the vet’s.  Ainey had told me this morning that Eva had suddenly developed diarrhoea.  So, it was off to Ainey’s workplace where she was looking after Eva.  We were quite worried if it was an early sign…

  • Meiji’s S.O.S for Ah Hak

Meiji’s S.O.S this morning really made me worried.  I thought it was one of the LLLP dogs that was seriously ill.  Meiji had described to me on the phone that the dog’s mouth was open and she seemed critical.  Right after work, I rushed over to our meeting point for Meiji (the petrol station opposite Metropolitan College). …
