  • Hello Panna!! (updates from Szetoo Yu Ming)

It was on 8th January 2024 that our auditor, Szetoo Yu Ming, called me to ask if I knew of any clinic that could help Panna, a neutered alley cat. Panna was discovered to have had two injured hind legs, probably sustained when Szetoo and his wife had travelled back to their hometown. Szetoo had…

  • We are migrating….to a new domain name!

This is long overdue!! When I started AnimalCare 15 years ago, I tried to purchase the domain name animalcare.org but it was unavailable (already purchased by a USA company – still is). So, I opted for animalcare.my, the “my” in front to mean “Malaysia” and mind you, this was BEFORE the use of “my” was…

  • Happy Wesak 2024

  • Nomi’s updates (Day 15 after surgery)

Nomi is still boarding at the vet’s. The vet updated that Nomi doesn’t have anymore diarrhoea. She is eating well and had not passed any stools yet at the time the vet updated. Her wound is healing and getting dryer too. Photo taken on Day 12.

  • Miao’s updates (Day 9 after the surgery)

Miao’s wound looks dry and well. She also had solid faeces this morning. All is good.

  • Robin’s 3rd medicated bath

After Robin’s 2nd bath, we noticed a lot of improvement in Robin’s balding issue. The fur has started to grow back too. Today is Robin’s 3rd bath with the medicated shampoo, ProHex. The shampoo has to stay on him for 7 minutes. I got injured last week, but this week, it was just a mild…

  • Miao’s updates (Day 8 after surgery)

The photo on the left was taken this morning and the one on the right in the afternoon (as the left one is a bit blurry). The vet says the incision looks good except for just some redness at the top part. No watery poop from Miao so far.  Miao is home.

  • Nomi’s updates (Day 14 after surgery)

The vet updated today that Nomi’s wound is closing up slowly. She is still boarded at the vet’s as this was the caregivers’ decision and they are paying for the boarding. However, Nomi has some soft stools so the vet is giving her Methylcobal to address this. The soft stools could also be due to…

  • Indra’s run-in with Rey

Indra had a huge fight with Rey this morning. The “hugeness” of the fight was in the noise, of course. It was terrifying. The noise, I mean. Just the noise. I had allowed Ginger and the Monsters to cross over to Bunny’s Place after so many days now. Everything was fine…until I totally forgot they…

  • Tabs and Riley

I somehow seldom write about Tabs and Riley… Both are fine. Riley still likes to graze throughout the day, but at least I can get her to eat a raw meal by herself every morning. I don’t need to force feed her twice a day anymore. As for Tabs, she still wants variety. Tabs is…
