Indra still had loose stools this morning. I found two clumps in the sandpit. Yesterday evening, the stools she presented at the pantry counter already had form, but this morning, it was totally pasty again. Today, I have given her Feline Gut Soothe three times and once of Fiber-Plus. Let’s hope her stools firm up tomorrow. Besides the two clumps found this morning, there were no more loose stools all day. And Indra is as active as ever, even escaping many times to literally play hide-and-seek with me. She sneaks out of the room, runs upstairs and either hides under the bed or hides under the covers, waiting for me to get her. Her appetite is also very good, especially for kibble!
As for the rest of the Blondies, I thought my luck has finally run out in getting them to eat a raw meal, but I’m still hanging on there. Only Samantha was willing to eat a raw meal neat. The rest has started their boycott again. But I found another trick this evening. I gave them canned food, and while they were eating, I took a chance to put some raw chicken meat onto the same plate, half expecting them to walk off in anger, but no….they ate the raw meat and left the canned food!
Haha…so, that worked for Kai and Indra. But it didn’t work for Akira. Instead, Akira opted for just the raw meat without any canned food. Ok…that’s even better!
Somehow, the Blondies don’t quite like a processed raw meal. By “processed” here, I mean when the raw meat has been ground/minced and mixed with other ingredients, like the commercially available ones. They are more willing to eat cut-up raw meat, but that’s mostly protein and not a balanced diet. And these fussy princesses don’t eat liver or gizzards. They just eat the meat.
We shall plod on.
