Juno’s morning

I was hoping to share good news, but my wish did not come true.

There was vomit on the bathroom floor this morning. At least I think it’s vomit, because Juno would defecate in the litter box and vomit on the bathroom floor so this was on the bathroom floor. There was no diarrhoea, no stools through the night. The last diarrhoea was at 9.13pm last night. I hope this means she is getting better?

But Juno is not active and still has no appetite. So clinically, she isn’t well at all.

I force fed her ID this morning, but also offered kibble where she showed some interest by sniffing it, but could not bring herself to eat it. Poor Juno.

Then, I had to force feed the nasty-tasting Baycox. Was hoping to give all the 1ml at one go but could only give 0.5ml. The next 0.5ml would have to be given much later in the day. I was hoping she wouldn’t have to endure the unpleasant experience of the dreadful medicine twice, but looks like she would have to.

Not interested in her RC kibble.

Offered Cindy’s kibble, but also not interested. I can only manage 1 teaspoon of ID each time, about one in two hours. I thought I might try RC’s Recovery later. It is more tasty. Waiting for any nearby clinic to open so that I can buy a can.

I’ve been sitting with her all morning. Skipped my walk too. Just staying with Juno.

She wants to sit with Tabs too. That’s sweet.

I’m waiting for the vet clinic to open as I’ve sent messages to update the vet. Will await her advice if Juno needs to be hospitalised. I hope not, but I will do what’s best for her.

Please get well soon, Juno. Be strong. You have to go through this hurdle. We are here for you, all the way.
