The Blondies celebrate their 1st birthday today, coincidentally with this year’s Chinese New Year! Exactly one year ago, on 10th February 2023, the Blondies were born at 12noon, with Kai leading, followed by Akira and Indra, each one 30 minutes apart. In cat years, the Blondies are equivalent to 15 year-old teenagers now!

I know it’s the first day of Chinese New Year. But I’ve been up since 2.30am today. I am very, very upset with the fireworks at my neighbourhood last night and this is despite the fact that our neighbourhood claims to be an “educated” one and I had already shared all the dangers of fireworks…
