• What happened to the two fighters (Indy & Ginger)

So, they fought and it looked like Ginger won (again). That night, Indy slept on the bed and looked quite miserable. I had checked and he had a scratch wound on his paw and it also looked like he lost one of the claws on his hind legs. Both were cleaned with hibiscrub and povidone…

  • The big Indy-Ginger fight (guess who won…again?)

Indy has been acting up for the past week or so with (1) his lightning-speed escapes from Bunny’s Room to the patio and (2) his constant war-cries on Bunny. So this afternoon, I heard his war cries, but remember he was at the patio. I thought he was war-crying on Bunny on the patio side…

  • Indy, on guard!

There were a few very loud noises on the neighbour’s roof early this morning and Indy was on duty. He was up on the ledge in an instance, doing due diligence (screaming at the intruder). I suspect it is either a cat or the neighbourhood musang (civet cat). Cleo helped….by looking. Pole helped too, in…

  • Minnie’s check-up at the vet’s today (liver readings normal)

This morning was Minnie’s appointment at the vet’s. She’s getting braver now so she made noise in the car all the way there. The good news is….Minnie’s liver readings are back to normal now!! It started with an ALT reading of 394 when first rescued on 18th April 2020. Then, it went down to 329,…

  • Pole’s eating updates

Since yesterday, I have been sneaking in tiny amounts of Cubgrub into Pole’s meals. Just very small amounts. She cannot tolerate Coco&Joe’s and refused to eat Cubgrub, but now…. I’ve been sneaking in small amounts of Cubgrub and also increasing the Primal. This is an example of a failed meal – Pole just licked up…

  • The good bed

Bringing down the super-single mattress was a great idea! Now I can take naps in Bunny’s Room with the cats! When I do take a nap, Cow and Cleo will always accompany me. But yesterday, it was Bunny Bun Buns! He has just discovered that he could sleep on the bed too. I have three…

  • Why Indy is always out

Do you remember Ginger reporting to Indy the other day that there is a “new kid on the block”, referring to Smurfy? So now, every day, Indy sneaks out at lightning speed from Bunny’s Place to the patio. He says he is there to “help” with the latest “situation”.
