Ginger’s appetite decreased again without the steroids, so after a discussion with the vet, he’s back on 1/2 tablet of steroids but with a tapering protocol. Hopefully, we can taper it down so that the dosage is kept to a minimum level or just as required.  

As expected, Ginger’s appetite improved significantly after being on steroids. He is back to eating as before. But I am totally aware that this is due to the effects of the steroids that gives the “feel good” feeling.
