• Bunny’s diarrhoea has stopped

This time I used this: Kitten Tuna + Fiber from Back2Nature. I fed him once and the next day, the diarrhoea actually stopped. But I had also been giving him Bioflor as well (7 days, but no improvement, or maybe it had to take that many days to work). So I think it’s a combination…

  • How Rey does it

Now I know how Rey jumps over Stargate. I saw Rey perching on top of the gate and it isn’t on the “other” side. It’s on the same side and that is simply an amazing feat. From this triangular patch on the window sill… He makes a high jump up to the top of the…

  • Getting a bit closer still…

Riley came to ask for canned food again late this afternoon. Many steps nearer now…I’m sitting in the living room watching her and she is okay. She did not run away, or rather, hop away. Riley hops around like a little bunny. She’s incredibly cute. Little by little…

  • Getting closer to Riley

Samantha did not come today. So I’m very sure she has delivered her kittens…somewhere. I just hope she is at home where it is safe. So I was just off-track by one day. Riley came on her own today. During the morning round, I could actually already touch her. Maybe she is just too hungry…

  • Ding, ding, ding!!!!!!

Rey was still coming over to Bunny’s Place and trying to pick fights with Cleo and Indy. We cannot risk the Super Seniors getting injured in any way, especially if we are not at home. All it takes is a few seconds of scuffle to result in injuries. The Super Seniors are too old to…

  • Sam, anytime soon?

From the size and shape of Samantha’s tummy, I thought she would deliver today, but no, I was wrong. Sam wasn’t here this morning so I really thought she had delivered her kittens. Only Riley was here. But later in the morning, Sam still came to eat. Now, I have three different flavours of Cindy’s…

  • Jayden and his friends

Jayden loves all our cats! With Cow Mau. And his ever-faithful babysitter, Ginger.

  • Jayden says hello to Sam and Riley

Jayden has been itching to take a peek at Sam and Riley. Sam and Riley come to eat many times a day and sometimes they stay under my car for long hours too. I bought high-protein kibble for both of them as they both prefer kibble.

  • Zero Expectations. Zero Disappointments.

There is a big difference between having hope and having expectations. We wrote to 6 parliamentary candidates requesting that when and if they land in parliament, would they be interested in amending the council by-laws so that ear-notched (neutered) animals will not be captured. That’s all we asked. YB Wong Chen – I first wrote…

  • Rey-proofing Stargate…again!

We failed in our first round of Rey-proofing Stargate, so Rey still comes over the Bunny’s Place whenever he likes. But in the past few days, he has been picking fights with Cleo and Indy. Indy has not fought back, but rather, tolerates the young ‘un’s annoying invitations to fight. Cleo retaliates by hissing and…

  • Bunny’s diarrhoea came back…sigh

I am not sure if it’s the change in food or the Cobalaplex, but coincidentally with these two, the diarrhoea came back in Bunny. I discussed this with the vet and the only thing in Cobalaplex which “may” have cause an allergic reaction is the chicken flavouring. There’s chicken flavouring in the contents even though…

  • Animals who stood for elections and won!

I will definitely vote for a goat, a cat, a dog or even a tree shrew if animals were allowed to stand for elections! The story: https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/top-lifestyle/2022/11/19/animals-who-ran-for-elections-and-picked-up-votes/ I am fully convinced they will do a better job. For one, they do not have greed or hatred!

  • The day Rey landed…

…right smack on Cow Mau! I saw it all just now. Rey had jumped onto the top of Stargate and was ready to jump down. He glided down halfway and jumped….straight onto Cow Mau! Luckily it was armoured-truck Cow Mau and not Bunny. And luckily for Rey (and me) that Cow Mau has already mellowed…
