  • Rio and Rey’s achievements for the day!

The kittens are out in the patio today for some sun and a change of scenery.  Training the kittens to lick blended wetfood (Cindy’s mousse) continues. I use my finger and Rey, Rio and Robin are able to lick the food up. But not Lynx. For him, I still have to rub the food over…

  • A gentle reminder: Honesty, Sincerity and Courtesy

This is a gentle reminder to all applicants: We have been updating everyone here on certain cheating cases which we have discovered over the past few months. These included forging the vet’s signature as well as blaming the vet for not notching the ears of female animals. Both of which, after checking with the respective…

  • Destressing Pole

I had a discussion with the vet over Pole’s tendency in getting FIC/FLUTD. The vet says it is likely due to stress. Pole cannot take Cystaid Plus as she seemed to be allergic to one of the ingredients in it and it caused her to have vomiting for the entire month that she was on…

  • Lynx levels up!

This morning, when we opened the curtain, we were in for a surprise! Lynx was sleeping in the pink basket! This means he went up the white platform and up again into the pink basket! Wow! Lynx levelled up! And when he got up, he was so happy to “show off” his newly acquired achievement!…

  • The Greystokes to the vet’s

Today, the Greystoke Family went to the vet’s for a check-up and deworming. Yes, everyone was dewormed. The kittens were weighed and of course, gained healthy weight. Smurfy gained weight too.  However, Minnie lost about 150g. The vet says she needs to eat more and also have sufficient protein. Weight loss is not uncommon for…

  • Lynx climbs up!

Lynx is indeed a leader! We set up a small platform a few days ago and have been waiting for the kittens to discover it and see who can get up first. Smurfy has been getting up to show the kittens how to do it as well. Today, Lynx led the way! Lynx and Rey…

  • Rey eats solids!

Another milestone today! The kittens are 28 days old today so I offered some solids (Cindy’s mousse with goat’s milk). Every day they have been sniffing at some Coco&Joe’s whenever Minnie eats, so they probably know that’s the smell of food. Rio is interested, but did not really lick the food. It was Rey who…

  • Kittens!

Here is today’s photoshoot! Time to come out and explore! The kittens know the routine so they actually called me to let them out this morning! While Minnie is free to come and go (the top cage door is open most of the time), whenever the kittens come out, Minnie and Smurfy would have some…

  • The challenge of getting Pole to eat

As expected the craze over RC renal kibble only lasted 3 days. Pole is not so keen on it anymore, but at least, she ate a lot for 3 whole days and was happy. Today, she ate a little of it, then stared at me asking for a different kind of food. Okay, but I…
