• The Greystokes

Here are some photos from today! I noticed the kittens love the towels that I use for the side, so they need something warm. This blue furry scarf use to be Vixey’s. For those who are new, Vixey was my rescue many years ago, before Indy. She was a black kitten but diagnosed with brain…

  • Poisoning, one of the most heinous crimes of cruel humans

Ref: https://animalcare.my/2020/06/25/neutering-aid-for-1-cat-in-johor-bahru-lee-jook-kengs/ This morning, Ms Lee gave us the very sad news that her most recent cat whose neutering was sponsored by us was poisoned by one of her neighbours. The cat was hospitalised for 6 days in an attempt to save his life, but he lost the battle last night. We are both very sad…

  • Eating news

Minnie and Smurfy eat with the Kitchen Cats now. Well, Indy is neither here nor there – he is sometimes with the Kitchen Cats and sometimes with the Cows. It all depends on what he wants to eat, I suppose. Indy is a strange fellow… Minnie and Smurfy has another round in front of the…

  • RMCO-Relief Petfood Donation to CNRM-feeders

Dear Friends and Supporters, In April this year, many feeders were hard-hit by the MCO. Some lost their jobs, some had salary cuts while some were restricted by the 10km traveling radius and could not get petfood for their animals. We offered petfood aid for nine CNRM-feeders, apart of our usual petfood donation to the…

  • The Greystoke kitties on Day 20

Lynx, Rey, Rio and Robin are 20 days old today! I think this is Robin (or is it Rio?) grooming Rey! Anyway, it’s the three R’s altogether. Lynx has been going to be water bowl very often. I saw him biting the edge of the bowl a few times today. Minnie also showed them how…

  • Of baskets, woks and other round receptacles

We bought his little rattan fruit basket from the rattan-man, but Heidi decided it’s her new nest. Everything in the kitchen “belongs” to Heidi. Smurfy’s permanent sunbathing spot! Tabs took Heidi’s basket today. So, Heidi had to migrate to another spot in the kitchen. Tabs says: Sorry, Heidi, I thought you had shifted to the…

  • Pole’s updates

I still have not been able to make Pole eat Cubgrub. I’ve tried various ways (without the “eat or starve” method, of course). She doesn’t seem to like it anymore. But she is willing to eat her RC renal wetfood, which is still okay.  But I have to be creative in the toppings, alternating between…

  • Tutor Tabs

Tabs, what can we offer you to be Smurfy and the Greystoke Kittens’ chief tutor? We don’t want the kittens to take after Ginger and start spraying all over the house, so can you take over as tutor/governess, please? We will “pay” you in Primal treats, will that do? We bought this rattan basket for…

  • Day 19 (The Greystoke kittens) and Smurfy!

All is well! Rio (I think?) really likes to look out of the condo. Every time I lift up the curtain, he will look at the “world” with big round eyes! There he is again…looking with his big round eyes! I wanted to take the kittens out for a dose of morning sun today, but…
