  • Tabs’ 4th medicated “massage”

It’s been rather cold for the last few days. The weather is changing from scorching hot previously to a much cooler temperature. I was waiting for a really hot day to give Tabs another medicated bath, but it did not happen. And she needs another medicated bath because she’s really been biting all her subcut…

  • Gerald, the mind-reader

Gerald is a very skilful mind-reader. He has now established a fair protocol whereby when I wake up every morning, he will be atop one of our cars in the porch. I can see him on the CCTV. He definitely knows I’m awake because I will drink water, use the bathroom, brush my teeth and…

  • Gerald’s morning

Gerald started sleeping in the cat tree yesterday, which is a good thing. At least he has a safe place in our porch now. After breakfast, I let him into Bunny’s Place, but he started whining to go back out. Gerald is happiest outdoors. He followed me on a small part of my walk in…

  • Jayden, the cat hair-stylist!

As Jayden grows taller, he discovers “new” objects on the table tops. His latest discovery is the cat hair brush! “What is this?”, he asks. So, naturally, I had to show him. The other way, Jayden. “It’s prickly”, Jayden says. “Can I use it on my hair?” He did try it on his hair a…

  • Gerald and the Blondies

Gerald came to mew at 3am. Luckily, a few telepathic messages managed to stop the mewing. Then, he was all quiet until morning. I fed him breakfast in the porch and then I let him into Bunny’s Place again. If possible, this would be the daily arrangement now. A special day where all the Blondies…

  • Good morning, good boy Gerald!

We managed to sleep until 6.45am this morning! I had expected yowling in the middle of the night but there was none. Not even this morning. Hence, we only woke up at 6.45am. I came downstairs and there was still no sound at all until I opened the front door. That’s when Gerald came bounding…

  • Gerald’s freedom

After dinner yesterday evening, I brought Gerald back to Bunny’s Place to see if he appreciates being indoors, after hours of “freedom” outdoors. He’s as manja as ever. Samantha and the girls were happy to reunite with him. But Gerald started yowling in no time, so I let him out again. This morning, Gerald was…
